Sovcomflot
Sovcomflot is one of Russia's largest shipping companies, specializing in the transport of crude oil, petroleum products and liquefied gas by tanker, including in Arctic waters. It is headquartered in Saint Petersburg, with the Russian state, through the Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo), as its majority shareholder. Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Sovcomflot was placed under Western sanctions, disrupting parts of its fleet and international operations.
