Solidarity Routes
Solidarity Routes is an initiative of the European Union launched in 2022 to help Ukraine sustain its exports and imports after Russia's blockade of Black Sea ports. It coordinates alternative land and river transport — by rail, road and along the Danube — to move Ukrainian agricultural products, metals and other goods to global markets. The European Commission works with the Ukrainian government and EU member states to streamline border procedures and expand transit capacity.
