Kyiv plans to add over 1.5 GW of thermal generation capacity
Kyiv plans to bring more than 1.5 GW of additional thermal generation online, partly by installing backup boilers, to strengthen heating supply during the current heating season. Completion of the works is estimated to take about two months, while equipment installation at some sites is scheduled for the end of December.
