Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies complete “Midas” energy-sector investigation
Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office have completed the pre-trial investigation into the “Midas” case, which alleges a large corruption and money-laundering network affecting state energy companies, particularly state nuclear power corporation Energoatom. Investigators say participants collected more than $111 million and nearly €12 million in illicit gains between December 2020 and November 2025.
