Lviv court sentences Zinchenko to life for 2024 murder of linguist Iryna Farion
A court in Lviv sentenced Viacheslav Zinchenko to life imprisonment on 1 October for the premeditated, hate-motivated murder of linguist and former Ukrainian MP Iryna Farion, who was shot dead outside her home in July 2024. The verdict is not yet final and can be appealed within 30 days.
