Seimas Committee on Legal Affairs

The Seimas Committee on Legal Affairs is a standing committee of the Lithuanian parliament (the Seimas) responsible for reviewing draft laws and legal initiatives concerning the justice system, civil and criminal law, and the organisation of courts. It is one of the main subject-matter committees of the Seimas, to which most legislation touching on the country's domestic legal framework is referred. Its members are elected by the Seimas at the start of each parliamentary term.
