Russian Ministry of Defence
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is the federal executive body responsible for military policy, defence planning and the overall administration of the country's armed forces. It is headed by the Minister of Defence and is headquartered in Moscow. Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the ministry has regularly issued official statements and operational updates on the course of the war.
