Russian occupying forces
The "Russian occupying forces" is a collective term used in Ukrainian and international reporting to refer to the armed formations of the Russian Federation operating on Ukrainian territories occupied following the full-scale invasion of February 2022. The designation encompasses units of the Russian regular armed forces as well as associated paramilitary, military, and administrative structures exercising control over seized territory.
