Russian House in Berlin
The Russian House in Berlin (Russisches Haus) is a cultural centre established at the initiative of the Russian government to promote Russian culture, language and education in Germany. Located on Friedrichstrasse, it offers language courses, cultural events and information programmes. Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the centre's activities have come under close scrutiny amid suspicions that it serves as a vehicle for state propaganda.

European states summon Russian diplomats over alleged drone sabotage at Leipzig airport
Germany accused Russia of attempting sabotage involving an explosive-laden drone found at Leipzig airport roughly a month earlier and announced it would close the Russian consulate in Bonn and the "Russian House" in Berlin. In response, at least eight European states and the EU summoned Russian diplomatic representatives, with Poland describing the incident as state terrorism.
