Germany accuses Russia of Leipzig airport sabotage; Poland, Baltic states and UK summon Russian diplomats
Germany formally accused Russia of attempting sabotage after an explosive-laden drone was found at Leipzig airport roughly a month earlier, and announced it would close the Russian consulate in Bonn and the "Russian House" in Berlin. Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the European Union all summoned Russian diplomatic representatives in solidarity, with Poland's foreign minister framing the incident as state terrorism.
