Russian Embassy
The Russian embassy is the diplomatic mission through which the Russian Federation conducts its official relations with the host country. Its main role is to represent Russian interests to the host government, manage bilateral political dialogue, and provide consular services to Russian citizens. In Germany the embassy is based in Berlin and is led by an ambassador appointed by the President of Russia. Embassy activities have repeatedly featured in espionage cases and expulsions of diplomatic staff.
