RTX Corporation, formerly known as Raytheon Technologies, is an American aerospace and defense conglomerate formed in 2020 through the merger of Raytheon Company and United Technologies. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, it operates three main subsidiaries: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon, producing aircraft engines, avionics, and weapons systems including the Patriot air defense system and Stinger missiles.

Zelensky and Trump meet on UNGA sidelines, push energy ceasefire and Patriot licenses
On 22 September 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met US President Donald Trump in New York during the 81st UN General Assembly High-Level Week. Zelensky pressed for a mutual energy ceasefire, licensed production of Patriot interceptors in Ukraine, and an additional winter air-defense package. Trump repeated that the war would end "sooner than people realize," raised the newly signed "Lindsey Graham" sanctions law as leverage, and offered an "End the war!" message to Putin. The two leaders publicly diverged on whether Putin is ready for a trilateral summit.
