RTX Corp. is an American aerospace and defense conglomerate headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. It was formed in 2023 through the reorganization of Raytheon Technologies and brings together three major subsidiaries: Pratt & Whitney, which manufactures aircraft engines; Collins Aerospace, which produces avionics and other aerospace systems; and Raytheon, the defense arm known for missiles and radar systems. The company is one of the largest defense contractors in the United States and a major supplier of military equipment to the U.S. armed forces and allied nations.

The United States has told allies, including Ukraine, to expect delays of up to five years in deliveries of key missile systems and air-defense equipment because US forces depleted their own arsenals during a war with Iran. Germany, Eastern European buyers of US weapons and Japan are all affected, and the Pentagon's decision to prioritize rebuilding its own stockpiles is complicating Ukraine's efforts to secure additional Patriot interceptors ahead of a difficult winter.
