Royal Danish Armed Forces
The Royal Danish Armed Forces (Forsvaret) are the armed forces of the Kingdom of Denmark, comprising the Army, the Royal Danish Navy, the Royal Danish Air Force, and the Danish Home Guard. They are subordinate to the Danish Ministry of Defence and responsible for the defence of Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Denmark is a NATO member, and its armed forces participate in the alliance's missions and exercises.
