"Russian occupation army" is a term used in Ukrainian public discourse to refer to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation engaged in the invasion of Ukraine. The phrase covers regular Russian military units as well as formations under Russian command operating in occupied Ukrainian territory. These forces have been responsible for strikes on Ukrainian civilian and industrial infrastructure, including metallurgical plants.
