Romanian Ministry of National Defence
Romania's Ministry of National Defence is the central executive body responsible for defence policy and the administration of the Romanian Armed Forces. It is headed by a civilian Minister of Defence, while military command is exercised through the General Staff. The ministry oversees the operational readiness of the army, navy and air force, manages military procurement and conscription, and represents Romania in NATO and other international defence forums.
