Romanian General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations
Romania's General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (Inspectoratul General pentru Situații de Urgență, IGSU) is the national authority within the Ministry of Internal Affairs responsible for coordinating emergency response across the country, including firefighting, flood relief and disaster management. It oversees Romania's professional firefighter units and the national civil protection system.
