Romanian Air Force
The Romanian Air Force (Forțele Aeriene Române) is the aerial warfare branch of the Romanian Armed Forces, responsible for military aviation and air defence. Its headquarters is in Bucharest. Since Romania joined NATO in 2004, the air force has been undergoing modernisation to align with Alliance standards and participates in NATO's enhanced Air Policing missions, including deployments in the Black Sea region.
