Register of Damage for Ukraine

The Register of Damage for Ukraine is an international mechanism established under the joint working group of the Coalition in Support of Ukraine to record and document harm caused to Ukraine by the armed conflict with Russia. It was launched at the Summit of the Council of Europe in Reykjavik in May 2023, with its secretariat based in The Hague. The Register is intended as a first step toward a future international compensation mechanism and gathers evidence of losses from both the state and private claimants.
