Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) is an international media organization funded by the United States Congress through the U.S. Agency for Global Media. Founded in the early 1950s to broadcast news and information to audiences in countries where independent media is restricted, it is headquartered in Prague. RFE/RL operates in more than twenty languages, including Russian, Ukrainian, and several languages of Central Asia.

EU ambassadors agree on 22nd Russia sanctions package; Estonia secures removal of rare-earth supplier
EU ambassadors agreed on 7 October on a new sanctions package against Russia containing 743 individuals and 826 legal entities linked to Russia's military-industrial complex, described as the largest single package adopted at one time. At Estonia's request, one Russian rare-earth supplier and an associated individual were removed from the list. The package is to be formally approved by EU foreign ministers on 12 October.
