Kushner Proposes Reviving NATO–Russia Council as Basis for European Security Deal
Jared Kushner wants to revive the NATO–Russia Council model and run Ukraine ceasefire talks alongside negotiations on a post-war European security architecture involving Russia. European officials support his broader effort but insist any security dialogue with Moscow must follow a ceasefire and a Ukrainian peace agreement. The initiative also depends on progress at the trilateral US–Ukraine–Russia talks scheduled for November 10–11 in Abu Dhabi.
