Prosecutor General
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine is the official who heads the Office of the Prosecutor General and leads the country's prosecution service. The position is appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on the nomination of the President. The Prosecutor General supervises compliance with the law by pre-trial investigation bodies, represents the state in court and directs the work of the prosecution system.
