Law and Justice

Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (PiS) is a Polish political party founded in 2001 by Jarosław and Lech Kaczyński. It held power from 2015 to 2023, during which time it governed Poland and its candidate Andrzej Duda served as president. The party is described as national-conservative, combining social conservatism with a strong welfare state programme and a sceptical stance toward parts of the European Union's agenda.
