Poltava Oblast Military Administration
The Poltava Oblast Military Administration is a state authority body in Ukraine, established in 2022 after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion to govern Poltava Oblast under martial law. It is headed by a chief appointed by decree of the President of Ukraine. The administration performs the functions of the regional state administration, coordinates local authorities, and ensures the defence and civil protection of the region's population.

Russian ballistic missiles destroy Naftogaz oil and gas facility in Poltava Oblast
Russian forces struck an oil and gas facility in Poltava Oblast with at least five ballistic missiles during the night of September 22, causing critical destruction that the facility cannot be restored from, according to Naftogaz. The attack was part of a broader overnight Russian strike on Ukraine that also hit Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad oblasts.
