NATO's top commander says Alliance stepping up intelligence sharing over suspected Russian sabotage
NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Alexus Grinkevich, told Reuters the Alliance is increasing intelligence sharing in response to a wave of sabotage and hybrid incidents likely linked to Russia. He called the rise in hybrid attacks "concerning," assessed the risk of a limited Russian attack on NATO territory as unlikely but not impossible, and rejected the idea that Russia could exploit US missile stockpiles depleted in a war with Iran.
