Polish Border Guard
The Polish Border Guard (Straż Graniczna) is an armed, uniformed service under Poland's Ministry of the Interior and Administration, tasked with guarding the country's state border, controlling border traffic, and combating illegal migration. It was established in 1991, replacing the former border troops of the Polish People's Republic, and is led by a Commander-in-Chief (Komendant Główny).
