Russia launched a large-scale combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight into November 7, 2026, focusing on Kyiv and the surrounding region. The strikes killed one man in the Kyiv region, injured six people in Kyiv, damaged energy, transport and residential infrastructure, and disrupted electricity, heating and water supply in the capital. Ukrainian air defences said they had neutralised or suppressed four missiles and 149 drones by 09:00.
