Pivdennyi Bridge
The Pivdennyi Bridge (Southern Bridge) is one of the largest bridges in Kyiv, crossing the Dnieper River. It is a cable-stayed bridge opened in 1990, more than 1.2 km long, connecting the city's left-bank districts with the right bank near the route to the Stolychne Highway.

Russia hits Kyiv's Pivdennyi Bridge again with drones, fourth strike in 24 hours
Russian drone strikes hit the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge in Kyiv in the early hours of October 2, part of a series of strikes on the bridge over the previous 24 hours. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said the overnight hit occurred around 5:00 a.m. and was at least the fourth drone strike on the bridge in the last 24 hours. Several bridges across Kyiv were shut off the highway, and bus services were rerouted.
