Patriot missiles
Patriot is a long-range, all-altitude, all-weather air and missile defence system (MIM-104) developed by the American defence contractor Raytheon (now part of RTX). It is designed to intercept tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and aircraft, and has been in service with the United States Army since 1981. The system has been widely exported to US allies, including Germany, Poland, Romania, and others. Ukraine has received Patriot systems and intercept missiles from the United States, Germany, and other partners to defend against Russian missile strikes.

Ukraine and Russia complete joint humanitarian evacuation from Oleshky under local truce
Ukraine and Russia carried out a joint humanitarian operation in occupied Oleshky under a localized ceasefire that lasted from October 27 to November 1. Aid was delivered, civilians who chose to leave traveled through Russia and Belarus to Ukrainian-controlled territory, and residents who stayed received food, water and medicine.
