PACE

The PACE is the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, an international consultative body composed of parliamentarians from the 46 member states of the Council of Europe. It is one of the two statutory organs of the Council of Europe, alongside the Committee of Ministers. It is headquartered at the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg, France. The Assembly holds four sessions a year and deals with human rights, the rule of law and democratic standards, including monitoring member states' compliance with their obligations.
