Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is the consultative body composed of parliamentarians from the member states of the Council of Europe. Together with the Committee of Ministers, it forms one of the two statutory organs of the organization and serves as its parliamentary representation. It is headquartered in Strasbourg. The Assembly addresses human rights, the rule of law and democratic standards, and may recommend measures up to and including suspension or termination of a state's membership.
