Pantsir-S2

Pantsir-S2 (GRAU index 96K6) is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system (SHORAD) designed for short-range air defence. It is developed and manufactured by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau (Tula), part of the High Precision Systems holding company within the Russian state corporation Rostec. Introduced into service in the 2010s as an upgrade of the earlier Pantsir-S1, it combines surface-to-air missiles with autocannons and is intended to protect military and strategic sites from aircraft, drones and cruise missiles.
