Pantsir-S1
Pantsir-S1 (NATO reporting name: SA-22 Greyhound) is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system developed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau, part of the High Precision Systems holding within the Almaz-Antey defence group. The system was developed under General Designer Arkady Shipunov, entered service with the Russian armed forces in 2010, and is designed for short-range air defence, protecting military and infrastructure targets against aircraft, helicopters, cruise and ballistic missiles, and drones. Variants and upgraded versions, including the Pantsir-S2, are in service with the Russian military and have been exported to several countries.
