Pantsir-S
Pantsir-S (Russian designation; export name Pantsir-S1, NATO reporting name SA-22 Greyhound) is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system designed for short- and medium-range air defence. It was developed by the Tula-based KBP Instrument Design Bureau, led by Academician Arkhip Shipunov, and is produced by the Almaz-Antey concern. Designed to engage aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and precision-guided munitions, it combines surface-to-air missiles with twin autocannon and is widely deployed across Russian armed forces and exported to several countries.
