Pantsir

Pantsir (Russian: Панцирь, export designation Pantsir-S) is a Russian short-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system. It was developed by the Tula-based KBP Instrument Design Bureau, part of the High Precision Systems holding company within the state corporation Rostec. Entering service in the Russian Armed Forces in the late 1990s, it is used to defend military installations and infrastructure against aircraft, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, and has been marketed for export.
