PAC-3
PAC-3 (Patriot Advanced Capability-3) is an American surface-to-air missile system developed by Lockheed Martin, designed to intercept tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and aircraft. It represents a substantial upgrade of the earlier Patriot system, with greatly improved capabilities against tactical ballistic threats. The PAC-3 missile was fielded by the U.S. Army from 2001 and is operated by several U.S. allies, including European and Middle Eastern partners.
