Ukraine’s Air Alert app hit by apparent cyberattack, sending false radiation warnings
Ukraine’s official Air Alert app was disrupted by unauthorized interference on the evening of 1 November, displaying false warnings about radiation, chemical hazards, street fighting, and a missile strike across Ukraine. The Air Force said no radiation threat existed, while the national and street-level alert systems, sirens, and the Kyiv Digital app continued operating normally.
