Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine

Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine (OGTSU) is the Ukrainian state-owned company that operates the country's main gas pipeline network. It was created in 2019 as a separate entity spun off from Naftogaz of Ukraine in order to comply with the EU Third Energy Package, which required the unbundling of gas transmission from production and supply. The company is wholly owned by the state, represented by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, OGTSU has continued to manage gas transit, including supplies to Moldova and other European countries.
