Odesa Pretrial Detention Center
The Odesa pre-trial detention facility (SIZO) is a penitentiary institution in Odesa that operates under Ukraine's State Criminal-Executive Service, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Justice. It holds remand prisoners — individuals detained pending trial or transfer to a correctional facility to serve a sentence — and is among the oldest and largest pre-trial detention centres in Ukraine.
