The US State Department approved the possible sale to Ukraine of 500 PAC-3 MSE interceptor missiles and related equipment for an estimated $2.1 billion. Canada, Germany and Norway will finance the purchase through JUMPSTART, supplemented by Ukrainian national funds backed by an EU loan, with no US government funding involved. Delivery timing was not disclosed, while President Volodymyr Zelensky said the missiles might not arrive for several years.
