UNDP chief warns Ukraine faces 'hardest winter' since full-scale invasion began
UNDP Administrator Alexander De Croo told the BBC that Ukraine is heading into the "hardest winter" since Russia's full-scale invasion, with a serious risk of humanitarian catastrophe if attacks on energy infrastructure continue. He described repair efforts before winter as a "race against time" and said Ukraine enters the season from a "very weak starting position." The warning comes as Ukrainian officials maintain the country is better prepared than last year.
