Novy Urengoy Condensate Stabilization Plant
The Novy Urengoy Gas Condensate Treatment Plant is a gas processing enterprise located in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia. It operates as part of Gazprom and processes unstable gas condensate, extracting a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons and preparing the product for transport. It is one of Russia's largest producers of liquefied petroleum gas and stable gas condensate for domestic and export markets.

Drones attack Russia's Makhachkala port on Caspian, fire reported; Sochi also struck overnight
In the night of 9–10 September 2026, drones attacked Makhachkala port in Russia's Dagestan Republic, reportedly causing a fire. Russian authorities initially gave no official statement, though acting head of Dagestan Fyodor Shchukin later said air defence destroyed all air targets and that fires at port infrastructure and the Avar Musical-Drama Theatre were quickly extinguished. The previous evening, unmanned surface craft struck Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, injuring eight and damaging beach infrastructure and the Primorsky embankment.
