Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery
The Novokuibyshevsk Refinery is a crude oil processing plant located in Novokuibyshevsk, Samara Oblast, Russia. It is part of Russia's refining sector and is operated under the umbrella of Rosneft, the state-controlled oil company. The plant processes crude oil into gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil and other petroleum products. Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the facility has been struck repeatedly by Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian drones strike Kuibyshevsky refinery in Russia's Samara region, fire burns into next day
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck the Kuibyshevsky oil refinery in Russia's Samara region, more than 1,000 km from the launch point, with a fire still burning on September 22, 2026. Ukraine's General Staff also confirmed a simultaneous strike on the Bashneft-UNPZ refinery in Ufa.
