North Atlantic Council
The North Atlantic Council is NATO's principal political decision-making body, in which every member state is represented at the level of ambassadors, foreign ministers, or heads of government. It has authority over the Alliance's key policy decisions, including collective defence, enlargement, and partnerships. Chaired by the NATO Secretary General, the Council provides a forum for consultation under the Washington Treaty and directs all of NATO's major activities.

NATO Military Committee visits Kyiv for first time in eight years
A NATO Military Committee delegation of military representatives from all 32 member states, led by Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, visited Kyiv on 6 October — the first such visit in eight years — and met with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi. Discussions covered Ukraine's military priorities and lessons learned for Allied preparedness, and the delegation paid tribute at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine.
