Ukraine's parliament dismisses Prosecutor General Kravchenko
On 15 September, the Verkhovna Rada voted 317–0 to dismiss Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, a day after President Volodymyr Zelensky suspended him under martial-law provisions. Kravchenko was abroad during the vote and the day before had announced he had signed a suspicion notice against NABU director Semen Kryvonos, a step that NABU and SAP called a systematic attack on independent anti-corruption bodies. The dismissal follows NABU/SAP searches at the Office of the Prosecutor General earlier in September as part of the "Carthage" operation.
