Trump tells Newsmax Zelensky is "not the person" the US should deal with, criticizes Ukrainian refinery strikes
In an interview with Newsmax on October 15, US President Donald Trump said he is "not a big fan" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, called him "not the person" the US should be dealing with, and said it is harder to negotiate with him than with Vladimir Putin. Trump also denounced Ukraine's renewed strikes on Russian oil refineries as a "disgrace," saying they raise global oil prices, and again called for elections in Ukraine.
