NATO Joint Force Command Norfolk
NATO Joint Force Command Norfolk (JFC Norfolk) is one of NATO's three strategic-level operational commands. Headquartered at Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia, United States, it is responsible for planning and conducting Alliance operations across the Atlantic, including the security of transatlantic sea lines of communication and deterrence in the Atlantic domain. The command was established in 2018, and a Polish general, Lt. Gen. Andrzej D. Bartoszek, served as its first commander.
