NATO-Ukraine Council holds emergency meeting on air defense amid new Russian aerial tactics
An emergency meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council was held at NATO Headquarters to discuss strengthening Ukraine's air defense in response to Russia's new tactics of aerial terror, including the emergence of jet-powered Shahed-type drones. Ukraine used the classified session to brief allies on expected weapons packages ahead of the next Ramstein-format meeting and to push for additional contributions to the PURL initiative.
