Rikshospitalet

The National Hospital in Oslo (Rikshospitalet) is Norway's state university hospital, located in the Gaustad neighbourhood of Oslo and affiliated with the University of Oslo. It serves as a national referral centre for highly specialised treatment and is one of the largest hospitals in the country, also housing major research institutes. The hospital is well known for treating members of the Norwegian royal family; King Harald V received care there in 2024.
