National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities
The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NKREKP) is a Ukrainian central-government body that regulates the energy sector, district heating, water supply and wastewater, and the oil and gas industry. It sets tariffs, issues licences to companies operating in these sectors, monitors compliance with licence conditions, and protects consumers' rights. The commission reports to the Verkhovna Rada and the President of Ukraine.
