German Foreign Ministry
The German Foreign Ministry is the Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt), the executive body of the German government responsible for the country's foreign policy, diplomatic relations and the operation of German diplomatic missions abroad. It is headquartered in Berlin and headed by the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, who sits in the federal cabinet.

Russian drone strikes National Academy of Sciences building in central Kyiv, killing at least one
On 28 September, a Russian jet-powered drone struck the Presidium building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on Volodymyrska Street in central Kyiv during the working day, causing a large fire and significant damage. At least one woman was killed and multiple people were injured, including former National Security and Defense Council Secretary Volodymyr Horbulin, who sustained minor injuries. The attack drew sharp international condemnation and prompted Ukraine's foreign minister to call for stripping Russia of its UNESCO voting rights.
